Outdoor activities are an integral part of our child-protection practices.
Especially when the surroundings are as enchanting as in Leros.
Recently we organised an excursion for several of the unaccompanied minors under our care in the Safe Area of the Reception and Identification Center of Leros.
After visiting some of the landmarks of the island, we took some time off to enjoy refreshments and snacks and socialize with the locals.
The program ‘’Safe Areas for Unaccompanied Migrant Children (Samos, Leros, Chios and Kos islands and Vagiochori, Alexandreia)” is supported by the Swiss contribution to reducing economic and social disparities in the EU and the Hellenic Ministry of Migration and Asylum and implemented by NGO Zeuxis in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Vulnerable Persons and Institutional Protection, Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
