Two new Safe Areas in the Controlled Access Facilities for Temporary Accommodation of Asylum Seekers (CAFTAAS) in Vagiochori and Alexandreia started their operation last week.
Zeuxis welcomed Unaccompanied Minors in refurbished and newly equipped buildings, which were prepared in close cooperation with the Reception and Identification Service of the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
The program ‘’Safe Areas for Unaccompanied Migrant Children (Samos, Leros, Chios and Kos islands and Vagiochori, Alexandreia)” is supported by the Swiss contribution to reducing economic and social disparities in the EU and the Hellenic Ministry of Migration and Asylum and implemented by NGO Zeuxis in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Vulnerable Persons and Institutional Protection, Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
